Couldn't be cuter...

As I'm sure any new parent can attest, this boy just can't get any cuter! Below you will see a racy pre-bath photo, the daily workout routine (aka 'tummy time'), and Kiefer sleeping happily with dad after walking at the dogpark.

Kiefer's arm control is improving tons, and his latest accomplishment is that he can hold his hands together in front of his face, and drumroll please, suck on them! He has been waiting for this moment for 11 weeks, and it has finally arrived. I think we're going to have a thumb-sucker on our hands (he gets that from his mom.)

We've also been working very hard on sleeping (ironic, huh?) But it has been paying off. Kiefer can successfully put himself to sleep, if we put him in the crib a little drowsy (sorry grandmas! no more rocking to sleep) And last night was another record setting night, as the little guy slept from 8pm-4am (and after a quick snack, stayed down until 6:30am). He slept so long Brad and I woke up and worried about him (and yes, Brad did take a peek to make sure he was ok).

Our biggest news is that Kiefer's first plane trip is coming up. We will be flying to Seattle on September 20th for our friends Jim and Marieke's wedding. We will also get to visit Joanna and Marty in their new house, and hopefully my cousin Kristin. It will be an adventure!
