Sorry folks for the lack of posts! Sadly, our computer has been feeling under the weather, and has been in the shop for almost a week. The prognosis is still unknown...so, I'm blogging from my laptop, that alas, doesn't have any new Kiefer pictures on it. I will include my favorite campaign button though (they really do think of every demographic...)
As for news, things are 'crawling' along here. Kiefer is still army crawling, but he is becoming quite proficient. This skill has prompted some new purchases to tidy up and baby proof the house.
He is starting a new level of appreciation for food (I knew he took after me!) His appetite has sharply increased over the last week, and we've moved to three squares a day. We have some great eating pictures to share. So far, he has tried, and for the most part enjoyed, the following foods: rice cereal, sweet potatoes, pears, peas, green beans, carrots, tofu, avocado, bananas, and yogurt. As a shout out to our friend Elaine, I think we are going to try mango next. We'll see if he really loves mango, or just loves the idea of mango (sorry, inside joke.) He also really loves these barley teething biscuits, but giving them to him is kind of a stressful ordeal. You sit and stare at him as the biscuit gets soggier and soggier (and he is having the time of his life), and the minute you see a break, you have to take the whole thing away (including the chunk that is typically still in his mouth), and then he cries because you stole his cookie. I've thought of not giving them to him anymore, but he loves them so much up until the point they break! I'm sure the experience builds character, right?
I have just realized that we failed to post Kiefer's 6 month pictures -- as soon as we get our computer back, I'll post the 6 and 7 month pictures side by side for comparison (although truthfully, you can't see a huge difference at this point.)
Hope everyone is keeping warm!

Mmm....mangos! Tell Kiefer you can't go wrong with mango salsa whether you actually like mangos or just think you do :)
