Recently, Kiefer's Grandma Melanie came to stay with us for about 10 days! It was a much needed helping hand for this family that was struggling to unpack in a new house and start some DIY home improvement projects. It was also a wonderful time for Kiefer and Grandma to get a chance to know each other better. Over the first year of his life the visits between the two of them seemed to have been restricted by short visits, illness, or just the sheer number of family members surrounding grandma and grandpa all at once.
Well, lost time was definitely made up! Thank you mom (grandma) for the tireless childcare and love you shared with us for that long week! We miss having you (and Dad) around! Thanks Dad for your visit and your handy work as always.
