Friends...sometimes.

It's been over eight months, but Kiefer is still adjusting to Leo. He asks frequently if we can send him back to the hospital. At Thanksgiving, he suggested we bake Leo into the pumpkin pie.

Alas, it will probably get worse before it gets better, as Leo is now mobile, and very attracted to Kiefer's stuff. Leo, on the other hand, thinks Kiefer is awesome and hilarious, and would prefer to watch him over anything else.

But we do have fleeting moments of camaraderie. Moments I hope foreshadow a future friendship.
