Winter persists...

We're going to get a little breath of spring this week. A chance to get outside and stomp around in the slush, see some geese, and figure out where the dog has been pooping when we've had feet upon feet of snow (apparently, in the gravel around the air conditioner.) But we're Wisconsinites (I can say that after 11 years, right?), and we know that this is just a tease, and that winter is most definitely still here.

We've been staying home quite a bit. Between icy roads, and the fact that everyone gets a cold if we venture more than 10 yards away from the house, it just seemed wise. Lots of books, a little bit of crafting, fort-building, and some good old fashioned smack-down wrestling have kept us busy.

The photos below illustrate the dichotomy of our days:

Kiefer enjoying his new favorite beverage, chamomile tea with honey.

The pajama pirates strike a pose (after a prolonged session of rolling around and squealing in their wresting ring...I mean, Kiefer's crib.)

I love the extremes! Keifer really looks like a fighter....and then chamomile tea? Ha! Leo is such a cutie too.
