Or Kiefer and the dry erase marker.
I have a small dry erase board I keep on the fridge. It makes it easy to make shopping lists, and add to them as we run out of things. Living so far away from town, these lists sometimes take weeks to get created. The other day, Kiefer discovered this new public art space that he had been missing out on.
I turned around to find my list-creating efforts from the previous three weeks erased in .8 seconds. I was sad. I shed a tear. Then immediately found a pen and paper and tried to re-create it as best I could. You hate to drive 45 minutes to Costco or the store, drive 45 minutes back, and then remember you needed elmer's glue and black beans.
At any rate, I will no longer keep lists here (at least for the time being.) But Kiefer did produce what I would consider his first drawing that actually resembles the object he was attempting to create. Can you guess what it is? It's one of Kiefer's favorite things.
If you guessed an excavator, you guessed right! It also could be the Lochness Monster (in technicolor) but the artist did intend a digger. If only he drew it on paper so I could save it forever, although a photo is almost as good.

Didn't your heart just melt when you saw it? So sweet. I bet he was proud! At least you got a picture of it before he wiped the slate clean again!
