Things I'll miss...

I'm not sure who our avid readers are, but my guess is that the bulk of you are made up of grandparents. For those of you who are not, you may not know that we are moving. We sold our house, and are heading to the country. Our new home will be a little ranch on 8 acres in the Town of Mount Pleasant, WI. Not sure where that is? Me either...

Although I am excited for this new adventure, there are a few things I will miss about this house. Don't worry, I won't make you look at photos of the built-in shoe rack in my fabulous closet (although I will miss that very much.)

I will miss these lovely yellow Ozark coneflowers
I will miss this pale purple coneflower
I will miss the most prolific rhubarb plant I have ever met.
I won't actually miss Cooper, as he is coming with us. He just doesn't get a lot of face time on the blog, and he was laying in the yard so nicely when I was taking my garden photos.
The bees are also coming along for the ride, but we have yet to work out the specifics of exactly how, but I've been told it can be done. It involves duct tape. These gals seem to have been working very hard this season, and we are anticipating a good honey crop. More than likely, these ladies will be joined by a second hive next year.
I will post updated pics of Kiefer soon, since I know that's why you all are really here.
