Ten Rounds with Diptera!

Yikes! no he didn't fall, this is what Kiefer looked like the next morning after getting a mosquito bite on his upper cheek near the corner of his right eye. The poor little guy wasn't fazed a bit. He played, slept and ate as normal. It was his parents that were freaking out. A few days later he had a golf ball sized bump on his left temple from another mosquito bite, only to be followed by a hand that swelled three times the size of his other hand after multiple bites occured on his thumb. We have diligently tried to kept repellent on him and kill any spiders we see in the house. The swelling takes 3-4 days to subside and sometimes we help it along with good old Benadryl. So, far he is back to his normal self at this time.
