Well, I don't have as many good photos as I should have (Dad, send me some of yours!) to document our extended stay at Grandma June's and Grandpa Dave's. We arrived just before the aforementioned nuptials, and we stayed until the Sunday after Christmas. We arrived in a huge snow storm, and left just after the second.
First, a big thank you to my parents for hosting us for so long. We ate your food, messed up your house, and generally disrupted your routine as only a very busy 18 month old and a pregnant woman can do.
Kiefer spent much of his time acting as the household janitor - he loved the upstairs linen closet with all of the cleaning supplies.
And although he missed his Daddy very much (Brad left after the wedding to work on some house projects, but came back on Christmas eve), Kiefer was completely enamoured with his Grandpa (or Brampa, as he calls him) and spent as much time as he could with him. They watched old Disney movies, checked for mail daily (or several times a day), and played. When he wasn't with Grandpa, he was cleaning the house with Grandma or playing with all of her goodies in the attic. As clean as my mother likes to keep house, she couldn't keep up with the frequent requests to get out the vacuum and dustmop.
Luckily, Kiefer got his own little vacuum for Christmas from his aunts and uncles, along with a tea set, books, and some other great toys. Aunt April commented that he was like a little English nanny, as he would vacuum for a few minutes, then pause for a spot of tea.
We had a great time, thank you everyone! And a Merry Christmas to all!

I didn't know you were pregnant!?! Congratulations! When are you due?
Sarah-
Yes, and congrats to you too! Jo told me about your good news. Originally the due date was May 27, but at our last ultrasound they said April 30th, so I think we'll be pretty close together. I've switched emails and didn't transfer my contacts - email me at pondhawkbates@gmail.com so we can catch up!
