I know this is so late! But here is Leo's 1 month photo - the photo was taken three weeks ago, I just didn't have time to post it until now.
We are keeping very busy - the garden is almost in, Brad has kept the lawn mowed (no small feat here, and we mow less than 1/4 of what we have!), and I've been strawberry picking. I'm hoping to make jam - we'll see.
Kiefer is becoming more used to Leo being around, and won't go to bed until he gives Leo a goodnight kiss. I'm sure it's because he loves him, and not simply another way to procrastinate.
Leo is sleeping for some longer stretches at night. Sometimes I get four hours in a row!
Kiefer's birthday is coming up - we can't believe he is two years old.
Current tricks and favorites:
- Leo is smiling, getting chubby, and generally looking cute.
- Kiefer can count to 10 and can pick out a few letters
- Kiefer is singing quite a bit - his current favorite song is "Allergies" by the Barenaked Ladies. "Popcorn" is a close second (from the same album), and he also likes Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours".
- Kiefer can climb into his crib, but surprisingly hasn't climbed out yet.
- Cooper and Kiefer have made several escape attempts from the three season porch, a few successful. I watched him do it once, he was like an escaped convict. He got the sliding door open, then the screen. He looked both ways, and then RAN as hard as he can. I followed him, and the funny thing was that he ran around to the front and rang the doorbell! Guess he wasn't planning on escaping too far.
