I have so many great things to post, and so little time to do it. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, a few small work things, and then the general marathon of raising kids/keeping house, it leaves little time for sharing all of our wonderful moments.
I hope to soon post photos of our fantastic Halloween party, Leo's first solid food, and Kiefer doing some baking and crafting.
But first, in mid-October I had two wonderful friends from college come to WISCONSIN for a visit. They left their fabulous coastal metros (Seattle and Boston, respectively) to come visit little ol' me (and my growing brood.) Sarah brought her new baby, little Jonah, who is just about 2 weeks older than Leo. We have been on the phone commiserating and conferencing several times a week about our babies, both of whom had some reflux issues and a penchant for not sleeping. Dear Joanna brought her darling little baby bump - she is expecting a little girl in January.
We had a wonderful weekend, cooking, catching up, and touring Madison. It is an amazing feeling to have friends who transition with you through important phases of your life. We have seen each other through college, dating, marriage, and now children. I hope that years from now we are sharing stories about grandchildren!
A few photos of our weekend (I wish we had more, but we were so busy having fun that we forgot to pull out our cameras.)

It was a wonderful weekend! Thanks for hosting us and showing us around. My baby bump and I had a great time. Already planning the next reunion... love you!
There are so many nice and thoughtful things one could say about friends and all that, but what jumps out to me most about this post is your hat. Nice.
Wow, that 'healthconnect' logo is barely visible! You're good!I just can't throw away a free hat.
