Obamarama

Kiefer and his friend Clare would like to remind everyone that election day is right around the corner. We know, you're sick of the ads and the back and forth, but this is a very important election. This guy will be president until these two are nearly in kindergarten, and maybe even all the way until third grade! A lot of good, or a lot of bad, can be done in 4-8 years, and it is important that everyone does their research and makes an informed decision.

Kiefer and Clare are squarely in the Obama camp, however, that has a lot to do with the fact that they are not able to dress themselves yet. As for you, well, here are some web sites you may find helpful. To paraphrase Kiefer's wise Aunt Bridget, don't get information about a candidate from the other candidate. And certainly don't base your decision on the negative ads you see. Seek out non-partisan resources to find out where the candidates stand on the issues. This web site, www.procon.org, shows each candidate's stance on 70 issues. This web site is always interesting after a debate or a new ad airs: www.factcheck.org -- it can help you sort through the truths, half-truths, and outright lies. www.snopes.com is a great resource to determine whether all of those ridiculous emails floating around are true, or more likely, completely made up. (This web site is great for all emails and urban myths, not just the political kind.)

So, on Tuesday November 4th, Clare and Kiefer want you to get out and vote for the best candidate! (And don't let the fact that these two look so cute in their Obama onesies sway you to the left -- vote on the issues!)
