Grandpa and Grandma Bates came for a visit the last weekend in February. It was great to see them -- we hadn't visited with them since Thanksgiving, and Kiefer has done a lot of growing since then. Also, Grandma Bates had a cold during the holiday, so she wasn't able to snuggle the little guy -- but I think she made up for it this trip!
We played a lot on the floor (Kiefer's preferred venue), did a little shopping, and spent some good quality time together.
Thanks for making the drive, Grandpa and Grandma, we know it's a long one.
